Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are revolutionizing the aviation industry. Pilots who are trained to operate these aircraft are in high demand. Graduates of the professional UAS Pilot degree program will have completed all academic training required for the Remote Pilot certificate and may work as commercial drone operators. Pilots with this training may find employment with a growing number of UAS business and public service applications including surveying and mapping, on-demand media, search and rescue, law enforcement, aerial delivery, or with numerous government agencies or military services. Non-flying positions are also available with the Federal Aviation Administration or other federal, state and local aviation agencies.Students considering applying for this program should read the information available on the CCBC website at www.ccbcmd.edu/aviation.Some aviation classes have lab fees. Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Community College of Baltimore County.'
