About Our Founder
My pilot training journey started in December 2022. On vacation with my wife, we were landing in Puerto Plata (POP), Dominican Republic, on an American Airlines Canadair RJ 900 operated by PSA Airlines as American Eagle.
Landing into that scenic airport along the coast of the Atlantic I remembered how I had wanted to be a pilot when I was younger. As a Boy Scout I earned my aviation merit badge and took flights with a friend at my church. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford it at the time.
Fast forward +20 years later and I wondered, what would I rather do for the rest of my life? I knew that I didn't want to regret not even trying to be a pilot. We started researching what it would take to become an airline pilot. Along the way, I learned that there were a lot of conflicting opinions, a lot of unfamiliar terminology, and little transparency from flight schools.
I created Pilot Training Reviews to empower all potential and future student pilots with clear information on everything from pricing to career planning and more. Join me in our community!
