The Mid Island family’s main concern is to ensure the safety and confidence of our students and pilots. We provide flight training from the Private Pilot through the Airline Transport Pilot. We offer ground school courses to complement our flight instruction on LI. Once a year, our renters fly with our CFI’s for their Annual Flight Review where they can practice IFR approaches, gain Class B experience, plan a night cross country or work on any flight area of their choice. All renters fly under their own Personal Limitations Checklist which they can amend as their flight experience level increases.'
