Griffith Aviation, Inc. is located in Griffith, Indiana at the Griffith-Merrillville Airport which is an important gateway to the local communities of Northwest Indiana as well as Chicago and the greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. Paul Goldsmith started Griffith Aviation, Inc. in 1984 with a small office building and a hanger of 800 sq.ft. with air charter and air ambulance work. This continued through the late 1990’s. Also in 1984 our F.A.A. approved flight school began its first foreign pilot schooling, beginning with a partnership with SAS Airlines based in Sweden and Norway, this continued through the mid 1990’s. In 2008 Griffith Aviation, Inc. started Chinese pilot training and this continues to this day'
